Day 01 : Arrival at Alleppey
On day 1 of the Alleppey backwater tour, you’ll be received by our representative from the Alleppey Finishing Point Jetty at 1200 hours. Alleppey, which is one of the most excellent ports along the coast of Malabar, is famous for its wide network of inland canals. Avalanches of tourists flock here to enjoy the boat cruise on the Alleppey backwaters. Being the hub of commercial activities, it is one of the busiest places in Kerala. While on the cruise, you’ll be covering Kuppapuram, Pallathuruthy, Kainakary, Pally Canal, Venattukadu canal, Munnattumugham, Nedumudy and then finally reach Champakulam. There are a number of tourist attraction spots in Champakulam like the St. Mary Forane Church (well known for its mural paintings), Champakulam Chundan (famous snake boat), Kottaram temple and Kalloorkkadu Angadi (one of the oldest marketplaces in Kerala). Thereafter, we’ll leave for Pullangady, where the overnight stay will take place.

Day 02 : Pullangady- Karumady- Thrikunnapuzha- Kayamkulam Lake
On the 2nd day of the Alleppey backwater tour, we’ll start from Pullangady and go on a cruise towards Karumady. One of the main highlights of the place is the Karumady Kuttan, where you’ll get to see the awesome statue of Buddha. Thereafter, you’ll cruise through Thottappally, Kumarakody, Pallana and finally reach Thrikunnapuzha. Thrikunnapuzha is a beautiful village, where you can take a walk and explore the beauty of the place. The village serves as an oasis of tranquility. You’ll be also taken to visit the local coir-manufacturing unit. Thereafter, you’ll board the houseboat and taken on a cruise to visit the Kayamkulam Lake for the overnight stay.

Day 03 : Vallikkavu - Alinkadavu
In the morning of the third day, the tourists will leave Kayamkulam Lake for visiting Alinkadavu, a real charming place. Over here, the tourist will get the opportunity to interact with people engaged in different commercial activities like coir manufacturing, limestone collection, sand mining, prawn cultivation, country boat building, rice farming and duck rearing.
